Abraham Cary Senior Managing Director, Head Trader, and Senior Analyst

Abe Cary is a senior managing director, head trader, and senior analyst at Westchester Capital Management, LLC, an investment management affiliate of Virtus Investment Partners. He is also a member of Westchester’s investment committee.

Mr. Cary joined Westchester in 2002 from Crédit Lyonnais, where he was a vice president and senior trader on the risk arbitrage desk. He started his career at Société Générale as a risk arbitrage trader in the equity derivatives group.

Mr. Cary earned a B.A. in geography and French from Middlebury College. He began working in the investment industry in 1997.
